By 2009, 83 majors of the OUC were set up in the degree/diploma programmes and the programme of One-College-Student-for-One-Village, including 23 majors in undergraduate programmes, 43 majors in junior college programmes (in addition, 6 majors were suspended), and 17 majors in One-College-Student-for-One-Village programme. In 2009, 5 new majors were started in undergraduate programmes, 5 new majors were started in junior college programmes, and 1 new major started in One-College-Student-for-One-Village programme.
