In 2010, 93 courses of the OUC were set up in the degree/diploma programmes and the One-College-Student-for-One-Village Programme, including 27 courses in undergraduate programmes, 47 courses in junior college programmes (another 8 courses were suspended), and 18 courses in the One-College-Student-for-One-Village Programme. There were 3 newly added courses to the undergraduate open education programme, 4 to the junior college programme and 1 to the One-College-Student-for-One-Village Programme.

In 2010, the three courses in undergraduate open education programmes with active students above 100,000 were Law, Administrative Management and Accounting. Their active students totaled 399,800, constituting 49.82% of the total number of active students in undergraduate open education programme. Law students comprised the largest group. The four courses in junior college education programmes with active students above 100,000 were Accounting, Law, Administrative Management and Business Management, and their active students totaled 1,097,300, constituting 60.18% of all active students in the junior college programmes, with students majoring in Administrative Management comprising the largest group. The four courses in the One-College-Student-for-One-Village Programme with over 10,000 active students are Rural Administrative Management, Management of Township Enterprises, Management of Agricultural Economy and Animal and Veterinary Sciences, with a total of 150,200 active students, constituting 88.4% of the total number in this programme with the number of students in Management of Township Enterprises comprising the largest group.
The information on the courses in the undergraduate open education programmes, junior college programmes and the One-College-Student-for-One-Village Programme, and the number of their students in 2010 are summarised in Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3. The students' information according to different courses is listed in Table 4 and Figure 1.
