In order to meet the needs of open and distance learners, most of whom study after work, all courses at OUC are provided through a variety of teaching media, such as printed materials, video recordings, and IP coursewares. In addition, there are online text and video guidance materials and BBS. Basically, all the teaching and instructions for the required degree courses can be found online.

 
In providing diploma and degree programmes, the Faculty has attached great importance to combining it with non-degree certificates and on-the-job training. For example, the course entitled "General Management Performance Certificate" has been introduced into the curriculum of Industry & Business Management, and the course entitled "Certificate of Statistics Professional" has been introduced into the curriculum of Accounting. In this way, students who take the relevant courses and pass the exams can obtain both corresponding credits for the degree and the accredited certificates.
