The Design of the Engineering Master Degree in Computer Technology is to help the students to have the capabilities of self-learning, solving engineering problems; and to enrich their professional knowledge in the filed of computer engineering. Pre-conditions of the degree: Having the Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, in Electronics Engineering, in Mechanic Engineering; or having other related degrees, for example, the Bachelor Degree of Computer Science, etc.

Software Engineering (undergraduate programme starting from diploma programme):
This programme is designed to prepare students in becoming advanced engineering and technical professionals working at the grassroots, who are able to meet the needs of the national economic construction and development of the software industry, and to conduct computer software development, software testing and project management. The programme requires the students to master solid basic theories and basic skills in software engineering, to have a grasp of basic methods and techniques in software development and application, to have strong practical skills in software project management, to understand the present situation and trends in the development of software engineering, to have strong ability to acquire knowledge and certain competence in analyzing and solving problems, to have the ability of reading professional literature in English, and to master the basic methods of document retrieval, information inquiries and the access to relevant information with the application of modern information technology. This programme is designed to prepare students to be advanced engineering and technical professionals working at the grassroots level, who are capable of engaging in the application of information technology, development and design. Students of this programme are required to have a solid grasp of the basic knowledge and theories of computer science and technology, to acquire the basic skills in designing, development and application of computer software and hardware; to understand the present situation and trends in the development of computer science and technology, and to improve their ability of acquiring knowledge and skills and competence in analyzing and solving problems. Mechanical Design and Automation (undergraduate programme starting from diploma programme):
This programme is designed to prepare students to be advanced application-oriented professionals, equipped with skills and competence that are applicable to the career opportunities in the operation, maintenance, design, manufacture and development of the mechatronics products and systems. Through theoretical study and practical training, students will be able to master the basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills of mechanical design and manufacture, and control engineering, such as sensor test technology, execution and drive technology, computer control technology; to acquire the comprehensive preliminary capability in the design, manufacture, use, maintenance and research and development of mechatronics products and systems; and to have the basic capability in technical and economic analysis and production organization management of electrical products manufacturing projects.
