|Friday, 02 December 2011 15:27|
In order to promote cultural and economic exchange between China and Romania, develop the vocational training markets of both countries and jointly cultivate professionals in high-tier fields, the Open University of China (OUC)，Romanian Wine Industry Alliance Group and Domeniile Vinju Mare(Romania) signed a letter of intent to establish a "Romanian Cultural Experience Base" at the OUC Conference Center and work together to conduct the "Wine Taster Certification" program.
With full support from both parties, the Romanian Cultural Experience Base will highlight Romania's world-famous wine culture, improve the expertise of Chinese wine industry practitioners and cultivate wine tasting experts who are badly needed in the Chinese market. The Base will regularly host Sino-Romanian cultural exchange activities, including symposiums and exhibitions about Romania and other international cooperative projects. Furthermore, it will become a window through which Romanians can experience Chinese culture, understand Chinese society and learn its language.
The launch of the cooperative project reflects the determination of the Open University of China to become an international university. The project will actively promote cultural communication between China and Romania and make full use of the functions of the OUC lifelong learning network and service platform.
Yang Zhijian, president of the OUC, Zhang Shaogang, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of the OUC, Constantin DASCĂLU, Congressman of Romania, Augustin IOSIFESCU, Minister Counselor of the Romanian Embassy to China attended and addressed the ceremony.
