Among the courses for degree programmes, four of them have each won a top-rank National Award of Excellence. They are Studies in Chinese Language Teaching in Primary School, A Brief History of Chinese Education, Introduction to Economic Mathematics, and Discrete Mathematics.
The Faculty of Teacher Education (China TV College of Teacher Education) is a member of the National Teacher Education Network Union. Several courses offered by the Faculty have gained the Union's Award of "Best Resources", and have been recommended to the member colleges and universities of the Union. The Faculty of Teacher Education has a range of well-produced, practical and enjoyable audio-visual resources, including music courses such as Piano, Vocal Music, Solfeggio, Masters and Masterpieces, Choir and Choral Conducting, Piano Accompaniment Improvisation, Dance, Zither, Violin, Electric Organ, Guitar, Accordion, Symphony Appreciation, Foreign Opera Appreciation, and Art courses such as Drawing, Calligraphy with Liming, Practical Home Decoration, Fine Brushwork of Flowers and Birds, Color Composition, Beauty of Chinese Characters, Design and Life, and Architecture and Clothing of Waterside Towns.
The Faculty has produced a range of excellent lecture videos on primary and secondary school management, teacher management, and student management. These videos include lectures on the Pilot Programme on New Educational Methods and School Management, Lecture Series on Educational Ethics and School Management, Selected Interviews with Secondary School Principals, Selected Interviews with Primary School Principals, and Lectures on the Establishment of a School-based Curriculum Platform to Meet the Students' Need.
